Ryan is a PhD candidate in Politics and International Studies at King’s College, University of Cambridge, and Book Review Editor at the Cambridge Review of International Affairs. Ryan was previously an intern at The Nation working with Editor-at-large and MSNBC host Chris Hayes, graduate researcher at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, and graduate researcher in jurisprudence and legal theory in the Department of Law at the London School of Economics. Ryan’s writing has been published by The Nation, Dissent, King’s Review, Truthout, and CBS News.
