Ryan manages Polemical Times, is a PhD candidate in Politics and International Studies at King’s College, University of Cambridge, and is Book Review Editor for the Cambridge Review of International Affairs. Ryan was previously an intern at The Nation under the direction of Editor-at-large and MSNBC host Chris Hayes, graduate researcher at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment, and graduate researcher in jurisprudence and legal theory in the Department of Law at the London School of Economics. Ryan’s writing has been published by The Nation, Dissent, Truthout, and CBS News.
